Bandwidth / Data Transfer

Bandwidth is the amount of web site traffic your domain name is allotted.
Data transfer is the amount of data a user transfers across our OC-3 lines. When anyone accesses a users website, the transfer of data (HTML files, images, sound files, etc.) is involved. It covers all types of incoming and outgoing data transfer related to your account.
Traditionally, bandwidth has been one of the key values of a hosting business to advertise for. We do not consider bandwidth to be a crucial feature for our customers any longer. With our generous hosting plans, a huge majority of our customers never even gets close to the bandwidth limit.
When a website grows in popularity or exceeds its bandwidth limits, webmasters may reduce bandwidth usage by employing bandwidth optimization techniques.

• If your site runs out of bandwidth, you will be notified by us, but your account will not be shut down.
• The billing cycle for bandwidth is from the 1st of each month until the last day of the month.
• Additional bandwidth is billed with $0.25 per GB.
